Our
Motion:
To actively pursue the advancement of Contortion and
Acrobatics training through strong and mutually beneficial
world-wide alliances.
Pacific Contortion and Acrobatic Alliance was founded by
Anne Lawton and Astrid Sherman. With both of our extensive
Acrobatic and Contortion backgrounds, we frequently were
being approached by Acrobatic and Contortion trainers and
students in the Pacific Northwest to unite together for
workshops etc. “Hence forth, our Alliance was born.”
We are near 50 members strong from South Africa, Europe and
North America. Our Alliance members started with past
performers, and with students who were involved in shows
and special events.
Our Alliance was
formed and our objective is to bring together & to give
back to said members / students & colleagues the
opportunity to join in on Conventions and Workshops with
professionally experienced artists in all forms of
Acrobatic and Dance movements. Also, to give each member
with the Drive and Focus, Audition and Employment
Opportunities.
